Chez Moi

In the vein of "Chocolat' and Babette's Feast, Chez Moi takes you into the Urban French life in the 60's with a young, struggling female protagonist who seeks "newness" in the goings-on of running a hapless cafe...much like the loose ends of her own life, the cafe stutters and chokes from the start.
Turns out, she is a natural at being "naturally" hospitable, and her little cafe/home becomes a channel for facing her personal "giants" and a metaphor for her life. I like the author's artistic aptitude on this mission...very entertaining story...warm...funny...charming.
