Cold-Dramatic-Human

Peace

Richard Bausch
4

It's great to have people in the building who have a passion for books. Shawna Johnson (Metro News) and I have swapped books for awhile. Yesterday she handed me this latest work by Ricard Bausch...she added that her friend is mentioned in the acknowledgments...that's always fun!

Italy, winter, 1944, three Americans and an Italian guide confront snipers and face-to-face confrontation the terror and violence of their times.

The characters are opened up and spewed upon the pages of this quick ...and directly disclosed account. You will feel the chill...taste the angst...and wallow in the desperation of men faced with the realities of battle in the fields...as well as the battle within. Great literature. Thanks Shauna
