Anything by Bill Bryson is, in my opinion, worth every penny. I am a big fan of Bryson's travel journals which are packed with humor, nostalgia, and relationships. The Thunderbolt Kid will have you rolling at times...especially if you are an early "boomer" ...you will be reading along, recalling images of your similar life events and then you'll choke on a laugh!
