Admittedly, I am not a read-all King fan. I don't know why I even picked up this book at the bookstore..but I'm glad I did.
Right away, I felt as though I was reading a little more "sophisticated" Stephen King style. As I read along, I expected to have the story turn an ugly bend and suddenly attack I'd be attacked by a Cujo cousin, eaten by Chevy Vega, swallowed by some evil non-descript blackness...never happened. Oh, there's supernatural in here...but it's played down for King...and just right for me... I enjoyed this novel...fast read, good escape.

I have to agree this book was a good escape. Thanks for introducing yourself and telling me about this site. I love to read and can't wait to talk about some good reads.
